5 Essentials for a Modern Bar Cart
ESSENTIALS TO RING IN THE NEW YEAR
Whether you are staying in with a few of your loved ones or hosting a New Years party, having a stocked bar cart is essential to ring in the new year. The inspiration behind the stylisation of this bar cart is a modern, complimented by moody florals. Of course we have stuck with our favorite colors of black + white, but we also love the pops of gold and green. STYLING PROCESS
In following with our theme of black, white and a pop of gold, we started with a two tier gold bar cat. To the bottom tier we added books and a textured decorative piece. Then we added a white and gold lamp to the top shelf.
Before we began styling with our essentials, we added a house plant behind the cart to give it dimension (and honestly to hide the cord from the lamp). Then we added a wooden board to add texture to the cart. We next layered the styling book, ice bucket and bar tools. Lastly we placed the most delicate items, the decanter and glasses.
THE ESSENTIALS
- Books: Adding cocktail or styling books to your bar cart not only adds a pop of color but also adds a personal touch. We love stacking books to add some height and interest to break up the glass and metal.
- Board: Cutting boards add dimension and texture, making garnishing your cocktail stylish and accessible.
- Ice Bucket: Adding a bold ice bucket will save time making drinks and incorporate an interesting shape to your cart.
4. Bar Tools: We know this is an obvious essential, but these tools are a game changer. Plus, they make bartending a breeze!
5. Glassware: Level up your bar cart with a wine glass and decanter set. The decanter and glass duo will give your bar cart an elevated look.
